About
I am a professional illustrator, graphic artist and designer, and website and social media developer. Since 2008, I have been employed as a technical and scientific illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, website designer, and social media developer for the Museum of New Mexico’s Office of Archaeological Studies.
My focus is to create dynamic illustrations and compelling design material for a wide range of audiences, from casual viewers to professional researchers, and to communicate complex scientific concepts through my artwork in print and on web platforms. I am an expert in numerous desktop publishing programs including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro, as well as the entire Microsoft Office suite.
For the past 16 years I have been responsible for creating artwork for many scientific and technical reports for local, state, and federal agencies as well as producing high-quality printed material for public schools and general audiences. I have also been responsible for designing websites for both public agencies and private companies and have overseen numerous employees and volunteers as a project manager and volunteer coordinator.
My clients include the New Mexico Department of Transportation, the New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department, the County of Santa Fe, the City of Santa Fe, and numerous academic professionals, authors, and business owners and I am presently managing the Office of Archaeological Studies’ three primary websites: www.nmarchaeology.org, www.ceramics.nmarchaeology.org, and www.galisteo.nmarchaeology.org.
